Zendrive is executing rapidly on its mission of “making all ground transportation safer using data and analytics” and is focused on building products to support the evolution of transportation.
We are looking for a hands-on Frontend Engineer with 5+ years of experience. You will work as part of a high-energy and talented team located in Bangalore, India. The Frontend team manages the dashboards, developer portal amongst other customer facing products. Technologies used include ReactJS, Redux, HighCharts & Foundation Email. Your everyday challenges involve contributing to our growing internal UI library, writing user centric tests, ensuring that the web application can handle the data of more than 100K drivers efficiently, and defining best practices for ensuring an enterprise grade reliability. We also have a robust design system and extensively maintain a component library showcased in Storybook.

What you need to do :-
Problem solving
Breakdown complex/large problems into logical pieces and implement the most optimal solution.
Ability to troubleshoot areas of ownership.
Coding
Write readable, scalable and maintainable code with extensive test coverage.
Design
Able to own small-to-medium features from technical design through completion.
Identify inefficiencies in the existing system and work towards a concrete yet pragmatic technical roadmap.
Delivery
Capable of prioritising tasks and avoiding getting caught up in unimportant details.
Coaching
Being excited about mentoring junior engineers in the team and identifying avenues for their professional growth.
What you need to have :-
-We're keen to see 5+ years of industry experience
-Advanced expertise with modern JavaScript libraries, tooling (e.g. React) and style systems like CSS-in-JS
-Good understanding of Flux/Redux, REST clients, async/await patterns, ES6 constructs
-Strong understanding of the software design/architecture process
-Solid understanding of web security and debugging capabilities of JS applications
-Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues
-Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities
-Demonstrated knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals.
-Exposure to AWS or any other cloud services
What will score you bonus points :-
-Experience on RESTful web service development
-Experience with data visualisation techniques
-Experience with test automation using cypress/selenium and building CI/CD pipelines
