As Senior Javascript Engineer in Lisbon you specialize on building business partner products that cater to the needs of Brands, Influencers and Content Providers. You will be building applications with React and browser APIs.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED

  • Build and deliver products that enable internal and external stakeholders to create and manage their digital presence at Zalando, such as by developing campaign management or collections tooling
  • Facilitate the alignment with Product Design and contribute to our design system for an intuitive and consistent user experience
  • Drive and create solution architecture for software projects in close cooperation with your team and deploy and operate large-scale monitoring applications on Kubernetes
  • Collaborate with your team and build strong relationships with peers in Berlin and across our other international locations in order to align on the integration of your products into our platform and to discover technical inter-dependencies

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Extensive experience in working on frontend applications with Javascript for 4+ years and sound exposure to libraries like React or Vue and extensive knowledge with ES6. Knowledge in optimising for performance and accessibility.
  • Strong knowledge of REST services, testing methods and building distributed systems
  • A business mindset that strives to balance between product delivery and code quality and that searches for new ways to improve Zalando’s partnerships platform to enhance the overall customer experience
  • A mentor that enjoys technically leading a team and contributing to the growing Javascript community by sharing knowledge through writing, presenting and mentoring
