We are currently seeking a JavaScript Web Developer to join our growing Technology Practice in support of our clients. What You’ll Do:

• Create web applications and user interfaces for web-based platforms
• Support the creative and strategy teams in delivering excellent end-user focused applications and user interfaces
• Help Rational and its clients deliver industry standard or better code bases
• Front-end development leveraging HTML, CSS, and JavaScript best practices
• Back-end development of web services and applications using NodeJS and universal JavaScript
• Bring your super power(s) to the team

 

What You’ll Bring:

• 3-5 years of experience working in web development
• Experience writing vanilla JavaScript (not just using JQuery, Angular, or React)
• Knowledge of frameworks like Angular and React and an opinion on when they are appropriate
• Understanding of client/server architectures
• Understanding of Object Oriented and Functional Programing
• Understanding of source control management in git-based systems
• The ability to translate business requirements into quantifiable development tasks to establish level of effort
