Senior Software Engineer - Frontend (TypeScript, React)

Founded in 2015, Crowdhouse is today the leading real estate transaction platform for investment properties in Switzerland. Through a digital experience our users can sell, buy and invest in Swiss real-estate. Since launching, we have achieved a volume of over CHF1.5 Billion of real-estate transactions through our platform, expanded our team to over 120 people and introduced a market-first property matching algorithm.

Technology and design catalyses everything we do at crowdhouse; and we look to hire Senior Frontend Software Engineers who are experienced with TypeScript and React to work in an agile cross-functional product team.

 

Tech Stack: 

TypeScript, React, Node.js, AWS, Lambda, Docker, Kubernetes, GraphQL, Terraform, Elasticsearch

 

In this role, you will: 

• You will build and deploy modern web applications in React, Redux, Typescript and Graphql
• Convert from design/prototype to responsive interface on the web
• You will collaborate with product managers, Designers and Engineers architecting new features such as, professional due-diligence, Digital Transaction Process, Access to Investment Performance Information and seeing them through to completion
• You will participate in code and design reviews 
• You will engage in software performance analysis, performance tuning and optimisation 
• Contribute together with the team to new products e.g. design, architecture and implementation of a market-first property recommendation algorithm 

 

What you need to be successful: 

• Experience building large-scale web applications 
• Experience working in a agile modern product organisation
• Experienced with JavaScript or TypeScript (we use TypeScript)
• Professional experience with React.js or another modern JavaScript web framework (Vue, Angular, Ember, etc)
• Fluency in English
