Founders with a proven track record:

The founding team consists of Shannon Terry, Andy Johnson, and Nana B Nyantekyi, who several years of experience working together. Between them, there have been 4 acquisitions and boast experience in the digital media, eCommerce, and tech industries.

Shannon founded Rivals.com, Popculture.com, Comicbook.com, and 247Sports, which become one of the top 10 sports properties on the internet. Rivals.com was acquired by Yahoo!, while the latter three were acquired by CBS Interactive. Andy served as the CFO of Rivals.com, 247Sports, and eCommerce startup Uncommon James. Nana was the director of business intelligence at 247Sports and also worked at CBS Interactive. He previously co-founded RightTrack Sports, a marketplace platform that uses data to connect students to university scholarships.

Your Role:

Spiny.ai is building a dynamic and cross-functional engineering team. Given our size, the engineering team works closely with the data and product teams to not only execute but originate the creation of solutions for publishers.

You should enjoy problem-solving and have a curiosity to learn new skills and tackle unfamiliar problems. The main responsibilities include:

• Working with our product team to create applications that empower publishers.
• Determining the structure and design of pages.
• Creating data-driven web components from APIs.
• Building reusable components for web and native.
• Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
• Building a test suite around code.

Your Experience:

As such, we are looking for a curious, driven, and hard-working team member with the following qualifications:

• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React. NextJS experience is a plus.
• Ability to think on your feet and prioritize what best helps to realize our vision.
• Experience with chart libraries is a plus.
• Interest in analytics or machine learning is a plus.
• Experience with AWS a plus
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices and
  techniques.
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
