t TransferGo, we’re on a mission to make moving money globally as simple and easy as sending a text. Growth team plays a critical role in shaping the way we communicate this message and, to make sure we’re doing that in the best way possible, we’re now looking for a talented Front-End Engineer to work in our Growth team.

Here's what you'll be doing:

You will research, design and deliver software using the latest client-side technologies with an eye toward performance, reusability and SEO best-practices. Together with your team you will collaborate with business stakeholders to define website requirements, plans, and deliverables.

You will be involved in the full development cycle including requirement definition, review, coding, testing and maintenance/support.

Along the way you will be able to learn and innovate as well as to share your knowledge with other members of the team. You will be working alongside great developers, designers, QA engineers and other top-notch specialists.

These tools help to get the job done:

The website is a JAMStack site, currently using Gatsby.js. A solid foundation in HTML + CSS is a necessity, as well as experience with React. Styling is handled using Sass + CSS Modules.

Some older parts of the site are written in PHP, so any PHP experience is advantageous.

Required knowledge in:

  • ES6+
  • React & Redux
  • TypeScript
  • Sass, CSS modules
  • Gatsby
  • Babel, Webpack, Node.js

We're excited about you because:

You have experience delivering production quality code. You're always looking for innovative ways to do the job and you constantly use best-practices in development and workflow processes. You believe that good code does not mean complicated code. You know how to handle cross-browser inconsistencies and are familiar progressive enhancement and graceful degradation.

Nonetheless, since the official communication language in TransferGo is English, we would expect you to be able to use English effectively.

And of course - you are not scared of dealing with technical debt and making it better.
