About the role: 

As Senior Software Engineer - React native (m/f/d) you will have the unique opportunity to build our first mobile app from scratch working closely with senior management and collaborating with all other engineering teams and be responsible for turning their wildest dreams into reality. As a collaborative team member, you will have a voice in our daily stand-ups that will be listened, you will guide and train junior team members and helps us to provide the best solution to our partners and clients.

Your responsibilities:

• You will work closely with Product and Design to develop Uberall’s first mobile app for the iOS and Android platforms
• You will engage in feature discussions, product planning, collaboration with others, etc, to ensure product excellence
• You will work closely with our Frontend Engineers to maintain parity between our web and mobile apps and to integrate our Design System into the new platform
• Develop a mobile app that our customers use every day to manage anywhere their locations and interact with their customers
• You are not only developing outstanding features, but you are also responsible for testing those together with your fellow developers and our QA-Engineers
• You will provide guidance and training for junior team members and you will be involved as well in evaluating different complex technology approaches and implementing them if they are proven useful and necessary
• You will bootstrap a new squad and help with hiring and training new engineers in building our first mobile app

Your profile:

• You have a passion for all things JavaScript, experience with modern front-end web technologies like React/Redux, and professional experience with JavaScript for at least 5 years
• You have a passion for all things mobile, and professional experience with React Native, for at least 2 years
• You have shipped mobile apps on both the iOS App Store and Android Play Store, and are intimately familiar with their workflows
• You have experience with React Native/mobile infrastructure like building CI/DI pipelines, automated testing, app store submission, app bundling, etc
• You take ownership of your work and for you, a feature is done when it makes using the product a better experience for all users
