As a Mobile and User Experience Engineer, you will help to design and implement mobile applications, conversational user interfaces, and voice user interfaces. You will use cutting edge cloud services to drive user engagement through a variety of mediums, and work with designers to constantly improve users’ experiences for large scale projects.
As a Nuvalence software engineer, you will:
- Collaborate with the platform, product, and design teams to ensure we quickly ship and iterate on high-quality products
- Debug and develop mobile platform-specific features on iOS and Android in a React Native codebase
- Work in a supportive environment with many growth opportunities
- Pioneer conversational and voice user interfaces for a large scale organization (Skill Dependent)
- Own and implement architecture of voice user interfaces using cloud based services (Skill Dependent)
Technical Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in quality software development
- 3+ years of experience with React Native, Android , and iOS platforms
- Experience developing VUI applications such as Alexa skills or Google Actions (Nice to have)
- Experience with Redux-Saga, Thunk, Persist, Mock Store
- Demonstrated ability to understand and refine technical requirements based on user research
- Experience with continuous software integration and deployment
- Demonstrated ability to keep up with rapidly changing best practices and tooling for user interface design and implementation
- Experience with agile development methodology
- Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns
- Experience with Unit Testing (Test Driven Development using Jest, Enzyme)
