Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a JavaScript Engineer experienced in developing scalable, well-tested and maintainable applications using React Framework and GraphQL. We want a strong team member, who knows how to work within an agile team to produce high-quality software. You will help us build and support great products across Babylon, in order to make health care affordable and accessible for everyone.
Essential Skills
Strong understanding of GraphQL
Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds
You have experience with TypeScript
Good understanding of the React, or React Native, framework and React Hooks
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
Good understanding of asynchronous request
You have experience working in Agile teams
You have experience optimising applications for maximum speed and scalability
You are a team member, collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Bonus Skills
You are familiar with NodeJs
You are familiar with cloud technologies; Docker, k8s, AWS, Lambda, ElasticSearch
You are comfortable with CI/CD automation for; Circleci, Jenkins, Azure pipelines or terraform
You know how to monitor applications in production with; Grafana, New-Relic and Kibana
