We’re looking for a Sr. React Developer to join our growing engineering team in Phoenix and around the US. You'll get to work on tuftandneedle.com/tn.com, serta.com, and beautyrest.com, the CMS tools that allow cross-functional teams to collaborate on them as well, and push us forward on a journey towards a cohesive design system across our sites. You’ll have a seat at the table with the rest of the engineering team on strategic decisions, and help our team envision the future of sleep.

For the engineering team, this means:
End-to-end ownership: From inception to production, you have investment in the solution being built.
Launch early and iterate: Done is better than perfect. Although we maintain a minimum standard of quality, we believe in getting value out of features and enhancements as soon as possible, while rapidly iterating with A/B testing built into our process.
Do things that scale: We’re bringing our homegrown brand of market disruption to the biggest mattress brands in the country (Serta, Simmons, Beautyrest). We’re automating manual processes and scaling up our efforts.
Pragmatism: We’ve moved beyond the startup phase and our business is growing fast, so our team needs to be practical, smart, and flexible. What worked yesterday might not be the solution today.
OUR TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT
Our stack consists primarily of React, SCSS, Ruby, Rails, and Postgres and is deployed to Heroku and Vercel. We use CircleCI and Buildkite for continuous integration and believe strongly in continuous deployment. We have a platform and architecture team focused on making this flow nice for you! We believe in leveraging quality APIs and tools.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience working in a tech environment similar to what's described above
- Proficiency with React
- Experience with GraphQL
- Experience with Ruby on Rails
- Experience with building eCommerce applications
- Expertise working with Content Management Systems (we use Prismic)
- Passion for Test Driven Development. We use RSpec, Cucumber, Jest, and Cypress
