Role & Responsibilities
- Work closely with our product team to deliver world-class building/facilities management software
- Develop new user-facing features using React.js
- Create reusable components for future use
- Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
- Engage in technical discussions and the design and build-out of new features
- Continuously improve, measure and evaluate software effectiveness and usability
- Participate in regular design meetings and code reviews
- Develop best-in-class software solutions
- Engage in technical discussions and the design and build-out of new features
- Maintain knowledge transparency with your fellow colleagues
Skills you will have:
- 3+ years experience (proven/relevant) in JavaScript frameworks, in particular React.js
- In-depth understanding of JavaScript, the DOM, and relevant concepts
- Familiarity with and using RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
- Familiarity with code versioning tools
- Experience building complex, scalable JavaScript applications
- In-depth experience using HTML and CSS
- A passion for product design that is user-centred, usable and desirable
- Strong problem solving, decision-making and troubleshooting skills
- Keen understanding of software engineering/digital design/built world
- Exceptional written, communication and organisational skills
Advantageous to have:
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or a related field an advantage
- Experience with Product teams using Agile and Scrum
- Experience with analytics platforms
- Experience with Azure, GCP & AWS cloud platforms
- Experience with Internet of Things (IoT) applications
