Mid/Senior Front-End Developer

We are a Fintech company in Berlin looking for an in-house FrontEnd lead developer who works closely with our lead Backend developer and our CTO who is the co-founder of our Company (Carl Finance). You will have co-responsibility for the strategic planning and implementation of our technological roadmap and contribute with your own ideas, setting the foundation for a world-class development team ;-)
We are currently building a corporate matchmaking-platform, which will give company owners the chance to get automatically matched with suitable buyers or successors for their businesses. This tool will fill the urgent marked need for small- and medium sized (family) businesses to find potential successors if no family member wants to take over and will therefore also disrupt the way Mergers & Acquisitions were done in this sector.

If you are a mid-/senior level front end developer with 1+ years experience in react.js, a keen eye for design and a high motivation to disrupt an outdated area in the financial sector, than you are the right candidate for us.

Your Responsibility
• Responsibility for the technical assets and the ongoing development proces
• Designing and implementing new features in close cooperation with the product team and the CTO
• Coordinating the development with internal and external team members
• Strategic planning of Carl’s technological roadmap
• Maintaining existing and deploying new products at Carl

Your Profile
• 1+ years of development experience of production level code
• Front-End Experience in state-of-the art front- and backend technologies including React.js and JavaScript
• Experience with agile development
• Good communication skills and the willingness to take over responsibility
• A keen eye for UI/UX design
• German language skills are a plus
