Durstexpress Frontend Department is growing, and we are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer.

We are building several Front-end projects from scratch and using Modern technologies that you will be excited about. You will be able to work with several brand new and shiny FE projects with 100% unit test coverage. We are keen on code quality and performance and looking for someone to share our passion.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will help us to bring our code quality and the way we work to a new level!

Your Future

• As an experienced Frontend Developer, you are responsible for shaping high-quality software within an agile and test-driven process
• Your opinion really matters - ideas you bring do not lie on a shelf, they are implemented
• You will develop our state of the art frontends and optimize it in collaboration with our UX department regarding performance and user experience
• By working with international and interdisciplinary teams from various backgrounds such as design, business, backend and analysts you will be in charge of maintaining our style guide
• You demonstrate a passion for implementing scalable and maintainable frontend services by thriving internal and external projects in a startup mentality environment with corporate backing and core family business values

Your Strength

• 6+ years of relevant work experience
• 2+ years of experience with React
• You have an open-minded personality and like to communicate with cross-functional teams but are also characterised by strong analytical skills and getting things done mindset
• Experience with Vanilla JS and Design Patterns (SOLID)
• Backend experience
• Experience with setting up CI/CD is a plus
• Good language skills in English, German is a plus
