The Role

We are looking for a talented individual to join our growing technology team. We are seeking someone who is self-motivated, likes challenges, and loves coding. In this position you’ll work together with the Front-End developers to deliver state-of-the-art, high performing, responsive & intuitive front-end solutions. And over time we offer you the opportunity to grow into a Front End Tech-lead position.

As our new Front End Developer, you will work together with the other Front End Developers. who are split over two scrum teams. Each squad consists of a selection of highly skilled individuals such as yourself, including 2 front-end developers, 3 or more back-end developers and 1 dev/ops engineer. Each squad has a dedicated product owner and is supported by a UX expert.

In this role you'll be focusing on:

• Working closely with the product owner(s) & UX expert
• Coding & delivering state-of-the-art, high performing, responsive & intuitive front-end solutions
• Provide input on end-2-end solutions and align them with the Back-End & Devops tech-leads
• Driving long term improvements and innovation
• Act as a subject matter expert on our Front End technologies and delivery processes
• Providing (longer term) estimations for our technology & product road-map

Our main working language is English, so a good command of the English language is required. Technical skills

• At least 4+ years of experience as a Front End Developer
• Experience with JS, CSS, React/Redux, Babel, D3, Gulp, Rollup, Sass, Webpack.
• Applied knowledge of REST, Swagger, AWS, API Development.
• Applied knowledge of best design and development practices and principles.
• Experience with unit & end-to-end testing (Jest, Enzyme, Selenium).
• Experience developing on multiple browsers: IE, Edge, Firefox, Chrome.
• Experience working on multiple operating systems: Android, iOS, OSX, Windows, Ubuntu.
• Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum or Kanban).
• Experience with GitLab CI & Ansible (continuous integration/continuous deployment).
• Experience with GIT, Jira, Confluence.
• Experience with monorepos (Lerna)
• Experience in e-commerce business.
