Front End Developer

One of the most exciting Manchester based SaaS companies specialising in the Retail sector, is currently expanding their award winning team and have some key hires to make within the engineering team. With 500k regular customers utilising their platform, this very cool disruptive company has grown month on month for the last 2 years with their data rich platform being leveraged by household retailers to enhance their consumers experience.

ROLE: FRONT END DEVELOPER

Based in their new Manchester office (with some remote too), we have a key role for a REACT Developer to join our established team responsible for developing / delivering the company’s flagship and award winning mobile application.

You will be a strong advocate for great engineering practises, enjoy collaborative pair programming, are pragmatic when balancing best practise against delivery and most importantly will be unafraid of the challenge of creating well tested high quality code that will deliver features and functionality to agreed company standards.

Able to adapt provided designs into both mobile and web applications, in summary, you will be involved in both Cross-platform Mobile App Development using React Native and Cross-browser Web App Development using React.

The person

An experienced, passionate and collaborative developer, who thrives in smaller teams (team size is 4), you will offer expertise/knowledge in:

• React Native or React
• Developing mobile and web applications
• Node, ES6
• Jest / Mocha / Chai
• Bitbucket / GitHub
• Accessibility guidelines
• Mobile application deployments (Play/App Store)
• Implementing good user interface design and user experience
• Writing and implementing unit and integration tests
