What the role looks like.   

You will play a pivotal role in contributing to the look and feel of our products and enhancing the user experience. This will involve utilising modern front-end technology (e.g. React, TypeScript) to fully represent users’ needs and architect, develop and release user-facing features to sustain and enhance the quality of our products. Your versatility and openness to responsibility, despite how difficult the task is, will enable you to contribute to the continuous enhancement of the user experience

An idea of the type of profile we are looking for:  

• Proven track record with Javascript, preferably React, TypeScript, ES6 or other common JS frameworks (such as Vue.js)
• Experience writing semantic HTML & CSS 
• Experience in building and enhancing UI components
• Keen eye for design and a strong understanding of UX
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging 
• Familiarity with performance debugging and bench-marking 
• Desire to learn and use new technologies

Added bonus;

• Experience contributing to open source projects
• A Tertiary Degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or related)
• Experience with build and deploy automation tools
• Experience working with Python on the back end
