Responsibilities:

The Sr. Front End Engineer will focus the majority of their time on frontend development of our GOST(R) platform user interface.  The role requires frequent collaboration such as on design, backend implementation, requirements clarification and stakeholder alignment.  We are in the process of a full redesign of our UI, you will be expected to both the design and own the implementation.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Strong computer science fundamentals with a master of full stack development.  
  • 8+ years professional software development experience in technically rigorous environments holding extremely high bars for their engineers.
  • Experience with both frontend and backend engineering, with a preference for the frontend
  • Deep experience with Javascript, css and associated tools a must.  Experience with React, Ember, Angular or other MVP style framework preferred.
  • Experience developing against a RESTful API, and collaborating on it’s design and implementation
  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Good communication skills, especially telling simple stories from lots of messy data
