React Developer

We are looking for dynamic developers to join our rapidly growing team and help to drive innovation across the aviation sector.  You'll be working in a fast-paced, startup environment delivering solutions that will be used by passengers in an all-new in-cabin experience that is shaping the future of air travel.

Working within agile product teams that are self-organising and able to deliver independently,
your typical day might consist of:

 

• Developing, debugging and testing code for our passenger facing application, bringing new opportunities and control to passengers onboard aircraft
• Helping the team complete a feature, be this by contributing code, helping other developers, reviewing code etc.
• Working with other team members to define and plan features
• Helping the team learn, iterate and continuously improve

Within our ePax core team, we are looking for full stack developers with the following skills and experience to work on our on board server code: 
 
Essential: 

• Proven experience using React and NodeJS in a commercial environment
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
• Working knowledge of container technologies such as Docker
• Development using TDD and CI/CD, preferably in a company with a DevOps culture
• Use of tools such as JIRA and Git
• Experience of, and a good understanding of- scrum, Kanban or lean environments and methods
• Passionate about creating user-centric products

 

Beneficial:

• GraphQL
• Docker orchestration using Kubernetes
• Knowledge of AWS including microservices and serverless architectures
• Experience building or integrating with eCommerce systems
• Experience within the travel or aviation industries
