At Your.MD, we believe everyone should have the information they need to look after their health. Five years ago, we brought together doctors, data-scientists and digital experts to create a new type of health app. One where anyone in the world could find personalised, medically-approved guidance, tools and support to help them feel better and stay healthy.

Role

• As an expert Full Stack software developer, specialising in Javascript on the backend, you want to work at the forefront of the transformation of healthcare worldwide.
• This role is perfect for developers with a passion for the healthcare & Social Impact sectors
• Salary £80,000 plus bonus plus stock options
• Our internal stack consists of: Express, NextJS, React, Redux, Semantic UI, SASS for styling and Mocha for running our tests.

Who you'll work with:

• Medical Doctors, Understanding their needs and building the tools that power our AI brain.
• AI Team, The people who bring the medical information to life in the Chatbot.
• Product, Marketing and Content, Building out our website to bring accurate medical knowledge to everyone. Implementing the well-researched UX and Visual designs.
Our internal stack consists of: Express, NextJS, React, Redux, Semantic UI, SASS for styling and Mocha for running our tests.

• Degree in computer science or relative area
• 5+ to 10 years Javascript development experience
• Experience with Node.js / React skills
• Deep understanding and love of HTML5 and CSS
• Knowledge of best practices and browser specifics in desktop and mobile
• Experience with at least one modern web framework
• Experience with JSON, REST and building APIs
• Experience with testing web application with tools such as Mocha or Jest
• Bonus: Webpack</li>\n<li>, SASS/LESS, Git
