ABOUT THE SOFTWARE ENGINEER ROLE
This role is the second full-time software engineer on the team. You will be responsible for architecting, building, testing, and deploying features to our mobile apps. You will work daily with CTO Fred Cook (https://www.linkedin.com/in/frederickcook/) and Sr. Software Engineer Adam Gibbons (https://www.linkedin.com/in/adamdgibbons/), and work closely with CEO Itamar Zur (https://www.linkedin.com/in/itamarzur/). You will also interact with other operations staff and drivers directly to fix bugs and build features.

TECH STACK

  • React Native Android & iPhone applications
  • Meteor/React/Redux web applications
  • NodeJS
  • MongoDB
  • Heroku
  • Various AWS services, e.g. Lambda, S3, SQS, EC2

AN IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Has 3+ years of experience building, testing, and deploying React Native applications in high-traffic production environments.
  • Has 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development.
  • Is passionate about joining a top-tier early-stage startup.
  • Loves to “get their hands dirty” and is excited about taking on big challenges.

Compensation

  • Contract-to-hire at a competitive hourly rate
  • $90,000 - $120,000 salary depending on previous experience
  • 0.25% - 0.4% equity
