Senior Full Stack Developer and data engineer

You:
We’re looking for a strong, self motivated Full stack developer with the desire to keep learning and progressing in their profession. Ideally you’ll have experience across multiple stacks, and be comfortable developing on both the front and back end.
Must haves:
5+ years Commercial development experience
TDD / test experience
Commercial Python
Javascript SPA, preferably React
Data analysis / DB (SQL) development
AWS and infrastructure
Devops / Circle CI
Ability to work as part of team
Excellent Communication
Self motivation and drive

The Role:
This is a highly flexible role, with the option to work remotely anywhere in Australia, or as part of our shared office space in Sydney or Melbourne. You’ll be joining a small team of enthusiastic and engaged engineers with a great work culture, and will be supported by a strong QA process and a strong planning pipeline.
You will be working across multiple code bases and projects, in coordination with the Product Manager and CTO, with the primary projects being written in React Native, React, Node and Python. You will be working across our full stack, before focusing on our Python API, database management and CI/ CD pipeline, with reliability and maintainability being the primary objectives. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills and contribute in the serverless space, as we will be transitioning to a partially serverless infrastructure model.
As a part of this role, you will be included in solutioning sessions, and will have the chance to drive solutions and contribute to the direction of the code base. You will be responsible for delivering code that is clean, well tested and suitable to scale out as we move to the next phase of our project.
