Frontend developer

To support our growth, we are looking for a javascript developer to join our frontend team and help us bring new ideas to life. Our entire frontend ( web & mobile ) is built using modern JS, specifically React and React Native to leverage code reuse across platforms.

This position is aimed primarily at people that are interested in React / React Native as these are the main tools we use on a typical work day. However, at novoville we're passionate about becoming better engineers and as a result you will have the option to play around in other fields like backend development and node scripting if that aligns with your personal growth roadmap.

The requirements are listed in order of importance.

• An engineering mindset and teamwork skills. We value culture above all else
• Good understanding of vanilla javascript
• Solid knowledge of React and at least one state management library ( we mostly use Redux )
• Experience working with RESTful APIs
• Interested in startups

Things we'll notice:

• Tinkered with and is interested in React Native
• Experience with node.js be it scripting or backend work
• Open source contribution or public github profile
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS and browser APIs
