WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a Software Engineer, you’ll be scaling our web application that can connect millions of organizers, speakers, and attendees. You’ll work on a product that’s used by millions of users internationally, mentored by experienced engineers from FAANG. If you care about code and product quality, love building things from 0 to 1, and thrive in a scrappy startup environment, we want to meet you! Specifically, you’ll:
· Web application development with a variety of languages including but not limited to React (Hooks) + TypeScript + Webpack + GraphQL
· Partner with designers and product managers to define feature specifications
· Work closely with the technical co-founder to design the technical architecture and build robust web applications
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s degree a plus)
· 2+ years of related web application development experience shipping products into the world
· Experience with at least one of the following tech stacks: React(Hooks) + TypeScript + Webpack + GraphQL
· Familiar with Git workflow (merge request), nginx/Node.js/Docker
· Experience building highly scaled consumer applications a huge plus
· Experience building audio/video streaming applications a huge plus
· Passion projects you’re willing to share with us (we love to see your work!)
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Can thrive in a fast-paced environment and within a distributed team across multiple time zones
· Legally authorized to work in the United States
