Twilio is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer with a focus on front-end web application development to join the Technology Platform’s user experience team. Our organization provides all Twilio engineers with compelling, continuously improving, cloud-scale development platforms–freeing other Twilio engineers to focus solely on their products and their customers. Who?

Twilio is looking for an exceptional individual who lives the Twilio Magic and has a demonstrated track record in delivering web applications.  They also have:

  • 5+ years experience building and delivering single-page web applications with modern front-end frameworks such as React (preferred), Vue, or Angular.
  • Experience building reusable, and extendable components using Javascript/Typescript, HTML and CSS, and familiarity working with design systems.
  • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
  • Experience measuring and optimizing the performance of web applications
  • Production experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

  • BE BOLD: Use the DevOps principles of automation, continuous delivery, and fast reaction to feedback to deliver value quickly 
  • WEAR THE CUSTOMER’S SHOES: Understand our customers’ use cases by directly supporting them and engaging with them
  • EMPOWER OTHERS: Build tools and processes that enable other Twilio developers to deliver software faster, with more confidence
  • BE INCLUSIVE: Collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers, and customers to make products the best they can be.
