ICEYE is building and operating its own commercial constellation of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellites with SAR data already available to customers. These satellites can take images of Earth at any time – even when it’s cloudy or dark. Information derived from these images will help our customers understand the world better and help them make more intelligent decisions. We launched the world’s first SAR microsatellite in January 2018 and have raised $65M in financing to date.

To support the growth of the company, we are now looking for a Senior Front-end Developer to be based in our headquarters in Espoo, Finland.

What challenges will you help us solve?

Our Ground Software team develops the software required to operate a constellation of satellites. This includes the planning system that schedules and optimizes the image acquisitions, as well the ground segment software that allows us operate and task our satellites interfacing with ground stations around the world. As a Senior Frontend Developer at ICEYE you will translate design concepts into functioning, responsive, high-performance web applications and services.

Your attributes that we need:

• At least 5 years of experience in designing and developing front-end applications with latest browser technologies
• Deep knowledge of Javascript fundamentals. Solid and demonstrable React/Redux skills
• Experience with automation, Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with front-end architecture standards and best practices
• Capability of mentoring fellow teammates on how to write maintainable and understandable code
• Ability to think creatively to solve concrete and real problems
