Frontend Engineer

At Specto we are building the next generation of tools for application performance monitoring and analysis in the age of mobile.
More and more users access essential services (banking, transportation, healthcare) through mobile devices. With the increased competition in the space it became apparent that just having a “working” app is not enough. The app has to offer a fast and smooth user experience, otherwise companies are losing users and consequently revenue. Existing performance management tools were built with a focus on server performance and as such lack the functionality needed to efficiently monitor, analyze and debug modern apps. We aim to fix that by building a modern front-end focused application performance monitoring service which will help power the next generation of mobile user experiences.

The team is world-class and fully remote. We are engineers and engineering leaders from companies like Facebook, Twitter, Yelp and Airbnb. We meet regularly, spend quality social time at company retreats and encourage employees to travel and meet. Our investors are leaders in infrastructure investing.

Responsibilities
• Develop powerful data visualizations for app performance data
• Own frontend dashboard architecture

Minimum qualifications
• Experience with web development (HTML/CSS/JS)
• Experience with React

Preferred qualifications
• Experience working on advanced data visualizations

This role is fully remote, however, we meet regularly so travel (incl. international) is part of the responsibilities.
