Frontend Engineer

In your role you’ll be the first dedicated frontend engineer of our engineering team, where our focus is building a product that is simple, intuitive, performant and reliable. As part of our growing team, you’ll have the opportunity to architect new features and design frameworks and tools that empower other developers. Our customers love our product and our focus is making sure to keep it that way.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement and ship user-facing features and web applications
- Develop reusable and testable frontend components for high-performance optimization, maintainability, and scalability
- Maintain and debug a mature legacy application
- Collaborate with the product team to scope features, identify potential trade-offs, and rapidly iterate on the product

Experience Required:

- 2+ years of experience developing customer facing frontend applications with ReactJS or similar frontend frameworks
- Experience working with web APIs
- Experience writing and maintaining unit, integration and end-to-end tests
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Experience in responsive web design and development
- Experience working with Agile methodologies

Bonus nice-to-haves:
- Experience migrating from a monotholic web application to a ReactJS frontend application
- Experience working with GraphQL
- Experience developing native applications
- Fintech, finance or startup experience
