As a Senior Front End Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building out intuitive and modern UX that delivers real-time machine learning insights to a variety of different users throughout our SaaS platform.  A successful Senior Front End Software Engineer has a deep understanding of modern design fundamentals, solid experience building production scale web applications with React/Redux, and a desire to work directly with cross-functional engineering teams to build data science driven products. 

You will be both hands-on and strategic—with both a broad ecosystem-level understanding of our market space and the ability to work closely with engineering, data science and product teams to deliver software in an iterative, continual-release environment.  This is a high-visibility position involving close collaboration across many functional groups as well as interaction with executive stakeholders.

What you'll be doing:

  • Define: Work with internal stakeholders to design and develop components in the next generation of Demandbase’s Analytics Products
  • Document: Write clear documentation to convey plans and UX, working with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency across our platform
  • Test: Ensure all new and modified code is tested, consistent, and of the highest quality at delivery time
  • Code: Build modern UIs that integrate with microservice backends across our stack
  • Monitor & Deploy: Ensure high reliability of all maintained product offerings by building reporting and monitoring mechanisms into our infrastructure.  

What we're looking for:

  • CS degree required
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience
  • Worked in a start-up (less than 150 employees) within the past 4 years
  • Deep understanding and experience building applications across the traditional web application stack (we use Django, Play, Rails, and more) 
  • Strong experience in front-end development (we use React + Redux) 
  • Experience building and maintaining shared UX components and style guides across distributed applications
