Front End Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a Front End Engineer (React focused) to join us and be a key player in deploying technical output for one our key FinTech clients/

You will need to be agile, fluid and adaptable. To be successful in this role, you should have extensive exposure to and experience with React in production environments, have a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, and be an effective communicator when articulating the design and architecture of the entire system. You should be comfortable with architecting React applications from scratch, multiple methods of managing app state, the pros and cons of functional vs. class components, writing your own higher-order components, assessing and selecting from third-party libraries vs. choosing to build internally, and using libraries of existing components to build pixel-perfect responsive pages.

Requirements

Extensive exposure to React in production environments
Effectively delegate and mentor junior engineers doing code reviews resulting in up leveling the skill sets for the entire team
Build usable components and front-end libraries for future use
Translating designs and wire-frames into high quality code

This is a Full-Time onsite position based in Manhattan, NYC.
