Front-end Engineer

Want to help us build the world's largest and most precise quantum computer? We trap atoms of Ytterbium in a vacuum chamber, and manipulate them with lasers to perform calculations that we intend to scale beyond the reach of today's supercomputers.

To make it all possible, we orchestrate heterogenous controllers and servos with JavaScript, with some high-speed software services provided in Go and in-house FPGAs and embedded systems for the most time-sensitive components.

Responsibilities:
• Develop system capabilities, and ship them; being a small team, we count on each other to run with projects independently
• Contribute ideas for new features, and help us improve how we do things

Qualifications:
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
• A love of frontend development, with 3+ years React/Redux experience
• A love of collaborating in an interdisciplinary environment
• Care for users: you'll work closely with our internal team of physicists who depend on our software every day

Bonus points:
• Experience with Node
• History of open source contributions
