Front End Developer

Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, enhance, and maintain our web-deployed B2B react.js application.
2. Capturing requirements from interviewing the internal customer.
3. Analyze requirements, perform feasibility studies and impact analysis.
4. Collaborate with internal developers and external development resources.
5. Develop new user-facing features, collaborating with back end developers and product management.
6. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
7. Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
8. Communication of requirements, risks, progress, and schedule.
9. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

1. Experience with application development in react.js essential. (Experience in similar technology considered on a case-by-case basis).
2. Experience with git and simple git workflows preferred.
3. Understanding of web development process, with an emphasis on front end design and development.
4. Familiarity with Jira and KanPlan preferred.
5. Self-motivated, be able to work independently and willing to work with a team of programmers and designers.
6. Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
7. Work permit for Hong Kong.

Education and Experience

1. Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. (Self-learnt developers without a degree will be considered where they are able to demonstrate the necessary skills and experience.)
2. Minimum of two years experience developing web applications in react.js.
