Frontend Software Developer

Truphone creates better connections between people, businesses and things. Since 2006, we have built state-of-the-art SIM software, intuitive management platforms, in-network call recording, and a powerful global mobile network.

We are looking for a talented Frontend Software Developer (the level of seniority is flexible and will be assessed throughout the recruitment process) to join our Technology Department.

This role and the team will be located in Lisbon (hybrid flexible work model). You will be part of a dynamic full-stack development team driving the core delivery and full life-cycle of our product lines. We are looking for someone who is humble, hungry and smart; with a strong track record in a role between product and technology teams at product-led growth companies.

What you will do:

• Build high impact features, designing and developing interfaces in the most user-friendly way;

• Advocate for high code quality, readability and high tests coverage;

• Promote best practices for a high-scale web (or mobile) environment;

• Work with an Agile methodology;

• Identify areas of improvement in the codebase and promote them through seamless integrations, documenting solutions and new flows;

• Mentor junior members when needed and contribute with meaningful reviews.

What you will bring:

• Experience in frontend software development (JavaScript, TypeScript and React.JS);

• Aspirations to become a full-stack developer;

• Experience with unit/integration/e2e testing (test driven development is a plus);

• Experience with continuous integration and deployment processes;

• Proficiency with DOM, HTML, CSS and other web standards;

• Proficiency with REST APIs, both in implementing and consuming the interfaces;

• Familiarity with Emotion, Cypress, MUI and styled components;

• Familiarity with development tools and processes (Git-flow, peer reviewing);

• Excellent communication skills (fluent in English, both written and spoken), with a self-motivated and autonomous mindset.
