Improving the on-line experience of millions of people takes great expertise and this is where you come in.  We’re growing our Frontend capability and adding top-notch Engineers is essential to combine usability with visual design along with cutting edge innovations in a single, natural experience.

Our Frontend Engineers have an for eye for aesthetics, and are curious and willing to explore new digital technologies. You’ll already be experienced in creating functional and attractive digital environments, ensuring a great user experience for all our customers globally.

Responsibilities

• Optimizing applications for maximum speed, applying best practice in coding and unit testing.
• Aid our product team in the creation wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas alongside UX specialists.
• Create quality mock-ups and prototypes, to be used as PoC's during initial development phases
• Ensure high quality web front end standards and brand consistency
• Develop with web security in mind, ensuring code written is robust against cyber-attacks.

It’s likely that you have worked as a Frontend Engineer, using technologies such as, Javascript, and React with hands-on experience of markup languages to an Agile/Scrum development process. You’ll have worked with numerous libraries and frameworks such as D3, Backbone, Grunt (others are of interest too). You’ll have the ability to work through solutions, have an eye for detail and ideally have a good understanding of a product lead business. Familiarity with browser testing and debugging using test suites as would knowledge of control technologies; specifically Git would be great to have.  We also work at speed, so the ability to work in a fast paced environment against client expectations would be pretty useful.

Lastly, our Frontend team are a talented bunch, so working with them, implementing new applications, building responsive user interfaces using the latest React APIs will be fun!
